At the heart of The GoodFeel Company is a man whose journey is as inspiring as the brands he creates. Juan G. Henriquez, our Co-Founder & CEO, is not just an entrepreneur—he’s a visionary, a creator, and a Web3 innovator who has dedicated his life to blending art, technology, and purpose.

A Journey Rooted in Curiosity

Born in Medellín, Colombia, Juan’s natural curiosity for art and design ignited a passion that would shape his entire career. From a young age, he was fascinated by the power of logos—how a simple design could tap into the collective psyche and connect with people on a deeper level. As a teenager, he often wondered, “Who created the Coca-Cola logo, and what were they thinking?” It was more than just the art for Juan; it was about the way design could influence, move, and resonate with people in profound ways.

At 16, his life took a major turn when he was forced to leave Colombia for the United States. This unexpected change led to a period of immense personal growth, learning a new language, and stepping into the role of supporting his single mother and younger siblings. It was during this transformative time that Juan met a mentor named Coke (yes, that was his nickname), who introduced him to Photoshop—setting him on a path that would shape his future in ways he could never have imagined.

A Spiritual Awakening and New Beginnings

In 2014, Juan experienced a spiritual awakening that would redefine his approach to life and business. He started meditating, eating healthier, and developing a deeper connection with God. This shift led him to take a bold step—he left his 9-5 job and fully embraced his passion for creativity, founding HighMonks in April of that year. During the next few years, Juan created over 100 brands, merging his graphic and web design skills with a deep understanding of marketing psychology and social media management. His entrepreneurial spirit also led to the launch of an e-commerce venture that, by the end of 2019, had generated over $2 million in sales.

Web3, NFTs, and the Birth of OpenSeed

Juan's creative journey didn’t stop there. In 2020, he ventured into the world of Web3 and NFTs, learning how to code smart contracts and integrating them into his 1/1 paintings. This new chapter sparked the creation of OpenSeed, a platform designed to empower growers and innovators, and the National League of Growers, a community dedicated to cannabis culture and technology. Through these efforts, Juan launched $LFGROW, a community token aimed at supporting growth, education, and collaboration within the Web3 ecosystem.

A Legacy of Success and Innovation

Now, with over 20 years of experience, Juan has developed an impressive track record: a 98% customer retention rate, the creation of over 500 brands from logos to websites, and partnerships with incredible brands like LRC (helping bring the Lamborghini Countach 50th Anniversary Rally to life), Rolling Hill CC, Curated, SNOW, and MH Real Estate Group. Juan’s journey also includes the sale of 230 1/1 paintings, blending his love for art and technology into a thriving, creative ecosystem.
